Abstract:

This episode of The Bridge Webinar Series will bring together experts to discuss digital equity and healthy practices in educational technology.  Kyle Shack, an Allegan High School History teacher, Technology Coach and MAET Professor will be joined by Heidi Gascon an MAET alum and Instructional Technology Specialist at Ingham ISD, with Michele Ellis a middle school ELA and science teacher at Williamston Community Schools.  These experts will discuss what does effective technology use look like, why digital inequity exists, bring your own device policies in schools, 1 to 1 technology programs, how we can obtain technology with shrinking K-12 funding as well as other topics.  This Webinar is being brought to you by Alex Miller, Jon Gere and Chris Armour.  They are current masters students in the East Lansing year two summer cohort in the MAET program.  Please join us!
